There will be a Shelby Cobra that will be available to people with more
means than me.  I was able to see the show on cable TV about the car.  I
will have to check locally to see how I can get my camera close to one
somehow.

Not to be a nit-picking American but....  the AC model that Mr. Shelby stole
was called the Ace.  He stuffed a 260 cid Ford V8 in it and called it a
Cobra.  Later he stuffed the better 289 cid Ford V8 into it and then, built
his own cars, using the original Ace as a template and somehow managed to
stuff a 427 cid Ford NASCAR side-oiler V8 into it. And still later, built
the famous "LeMans Coupe" which looked nothing like the original AC Ace.

AC was kinda resurrected in the 80's and produced a Cobra "replica" that
were known as AC Cobras.

Apparently, recently, Cobras were made by Shelby with original left-over
parts from the '60s...
