And has nothing to do with, so called, effective focal lengths. When I did this test with my LX and ist D, using the same lens, the object size in the viewfinder was pretty much the same. The only difference is that the istD viewfinder is about 2/3 the size of the LX viewfinder (well, the LX viewfinder is also ways better). The viewfinder magnification of the two is almost identical. I don't have an MZ body around to compare to. William Robb
