Hmmm, overall, I really like this shot Bruce. Not sure if it is the colour or the focus or the combination of them both together.
Generally, I don't like soft focus and soft focus filters for wedding photography as it often results in images that look very dated (read: 80's), and overly cheesy, but this one looks modern (maybe it is their attire), with a nice "glowy" feel about it. The light on the fountain in the background is lovely. I am not TOO sure about the pose, I think I would prefer it to be a straight portrait with her looking up as well. It looks a bit too staged the way it is at the moment (for my tastes). The colouring of the image is really nice. I love the level of saturation... Anyways, I LIKE it. I think it would be nice for their album, but you wouldn't want to shoot too many of them. Just one or two puts the emphasis back on the creative effect, I think. BTW, what did the bride think of it? tan. -----Original Message----- From: Bruce Dayton [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, 24 February 2004 3:03 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: PAW - My first Ok, here is my first one. http://www.daytonphoto.com/PAW/paw.html I would be curious as to what you think of this. It was shot with a Pentax Soft lens and I have gotten strong response - so far, people either really like the effect, or they really don't. -- Best regards, Bruce
