I've never known anyone who has this lens to be dissatisfied. It's the only manual focus zoom from Pentax that I've tried that I ~REALLY~ like. Since the zoom range is so small, it's more like a cropping adjuster than a "real" zoom, but that's its charm and its strength. My only complaint is that it's not an F2.0 ... <LOL> But then the size wouldn't be so accommodating.
