Hi Shel,
I prefer the color one too. I think the b&w version is just "too grey". I can't decide if I like it without the telephone kiosk or not. I liked the reflection on the pavement. There were actually two kiosks (well, 1.5) and I did crop slightly to take the first one out. A tighter crop does make it look more desolate as the left edge added more brightness to the scene and the building becomes more imposing.
