I agree with Shel, the colour one has more impact. Maybe it's all psychological, but once I know that a colour photo has been desaturated to b&w, it just doesn't work. If I'm not told? I probably wouldn't notice.
But, that being said, the muted colours ~do~ work better than the b&w here. Not sure about Shel's crop. I kind of like that phone booth (is that what it is? I've never really looked before) in there. It works both ways, but I have a slight prefered with it in. Not so much because I like the phone booth, but for me it works better seeing the end of the building - maybe it's because one sees more grey sky, I don't know.

The color version has more impact. The muted colors and the hint of red make this pic far more interesting than the B&W photo. Looking at it I thought that a slightly different crop might make it a stronger image, albeit a different one. What do you think?
