I am pretty sure they don't.

I have read a reply by Thomas Knoll (one of the Phostoshop developers)
on the dpreview site on this subject where he litterally says that. 
They use DCRAW code for 'reference purposes' but also have the full specs 
from Pentax and (re)use a lot of their existing code for converting RAW images ...
