It cost me AU$55 to get mine cleaned by Pentax. I dropped it off at noon and it was ready at 9:30 the next day (they open at 8). I think mine was the first one they had to do in Melbourne so they took their time. With a bit of convincing I think I could get them to do it while I waited, but I'd prefer not to have to do it very often. I've taken to dusting lenses before I attach them to make sure there is as little dust as possible in there. >Many of the people of the Nikon D1 BB clean there own,but i'm to chicken to try. This is my situation at the moment. I'd be confident following the professional method if I knew what it was, but I don't know what they use.
