company what brings out a "classic" K mount DSLR, I wouldn't hold my breath, or put off buying a *ist-D waiting for it,
or a M42 DSLR that supports the F/ES coupling since that seems very remote.

As an owner of a Leica M4, I am sort of glad that I didn't spend my hard
earn dough on the *ist D. I really like rangefinder shooting.
