I just don't see that happening for me ... all I can say is thank goodness for the used market. Even though I don't care for autofocus lenses and cameras, I feel badly for those who do like or need them, and who may soon be unable to get that type of gear.
Over the years most of my Pentax gear has been purchased used, although there have been three cameras and several lenses that I bought new. Pentax hasn't offered me anything since the LX, and while I'm considering a DSLR, and would like to go with Pentax in order to use older lenses, there doesn't seem to be any new lenses that push my buttons right now. Perhaps that will change ... but 'tis a sad morning for me thinking about such things. I think I'll go feed my cats ...
