Eventually it ought to happen with the *istD too. But I think that will take longer because there is no *thD. ;-) The 300D obviously has now been out long enough for it to just happen. First used one I've seen (they may have been others, but it's the first used one I've seen at Adorama and KEH), so there are bound to be others soon.
