Bob. I have never heard of an HN5 (and I sell a LOT of Nikon hoods). I think
it may be the HS9 (HS are the snap-on type, with the sprung internal clamp)
for the 50 1.4. HN3 certainly is recommended for the 55micro, so should work
well with a Pentax 50.
