Steve wrote: It's less of an issue now that minilabs are switching to digital printing - the last time I took XP2 to a minilab I was offered (and accepted) "true" B&W prints as a no-cost option. That's true I forgot about digital mini labs ability to desaturate a print made from a negative. Once dialed in they do a good job.
