Politics

I love politics.  It is once of my passions.  I belong to several lists 
and sites concerned with politics and international events, and spend 
more time there than on photography lists.  I have also worked on dozens 
of political campaigns over the past 45 years.  (Yes, I am an old fart 
and I admit it.)

I belong to this list to learn more about photography in general and 
Pentax photography in particular.  When I am on this list, I want to 
read about photography, not politics.  Unfortunately, I also have found 
that, in order to enjoy this list, I must block messages from and about 
certain member whose rantings are particularly annoying. That is a 
shame, since those individuals probably have information and opinions 
about photography that I would find useful.

Perhaps we should start another list, devoted to folks from all over the 
world who want to exchange views on political topics.  I would be 
interested in such a group.  I just do not want this list to become that 
group.
