Bruce, I spoke to CR Kennedy here in Australia about just that lens about half an hour ago! They said it was on backorder and that there were three separate shipments on back order, and they had no idea at all when it would be available. He said that price would be aroun AUD$1500 (rrp), but most retailers would probably discount it to around the AUD$1300 mark.
