3. AF Points Indication
AF points you choose will not be shown on the LCD on the
body top, but only in the viewfinder LED. I didn't have
enough time to check it into details, but you find the AF
points in the viewfinder for sure.

This is of no consequence in my opinion. You need to look trhough the viefinder to use
AF in any meaningful way. More negative is the lack of the exposure bar on the
external LCD panel. For manual use on a tripod external exposure bar display is great.
Whats really stupid is the fact that they have repeated the mistake from the Z-1p of
arranging the exposure bar vertically when the dials adjust by a horizontal movement.
This is almost inexusable; instead of having a totally intuitive interface you'll
still stucked with the danger of turning wheels the wrong direction. Maybe it will
work on the MZ-S since it has programmable direction of wheels.
I've used the Z-1p for almost six years now and I still turn dials the wrong way. I
spend three hours yesterday shooting swans. Exposure of swans is never
straightforeward and it wasn't made any easier yesterday by the sun going constantly
in and out of clouds and moving swans with varying backgrounds from dark water to
snow. Constant dialing in of exposure was needed. Still I turn dials in the wrong
direction (and press the exposure lock button instead of the IF button; exposure
compensation instead of the metering button etc...).

"4. Sales Date and Catalogue Price
Nothing for sure. I asked and asked and asked. They finally
told me that MZ-S will be released "before summer comes". I
felt maybe he means in June. (When you say "summer" in
Japan, it means July and August. :-)) He doesn't know if
it is introduced simultaneously all around the globe. The
price will be "a little higher than a Z-1p" and "much less
than an LX". :-) In Japan, a Z-1p is JPY108,000 and an LX
with an FA-1 is JPY180,000; which leads the price of an
MZ-S to JPY120,000 to JPY150,000."

They should get their fingers out and release the thing. It will be really
dissapointing for me if it doesn't reach me before the top shooting seasons begin. I
don't enjoy using the Z-1p.....
