One Russian twin lens 6x6 (early 1950:s(?) ) that I can't make out the name of. For some reason I used to think it was a Lubitel. However I can't make out anything remotely looking like "Lubitel" from the lettering (in a hand written style). It ends with a "2" though.
The focusing is supposed to be done by turning the finder lens coupled to the shooting lens. However the coupling metal around the lenses has fatigued (or the lenses got out of alignment) to the extent that they don't couple, why I have to do some guessing as to where I will be focusing.
Also about ten years ago I thought I'd clean the front lens and started rubbing off what looked like soot or carbon on the inside of the front lens. However soon it appeared to be so even and rather thick that I asked myself whether I was talking off a layer which was supposed to be there. (The camera hadn't been subjected to an environment where so much dirt could have gathered on the inside of the front lens. Anyone got a clue about this?)
