I have trouble with this concept of paying to be in a search engine.
If you are getting 2300 hits per day why do you need to pay to get
more? Unless it is from a listing in a specialised search for
wedding/portrait photographers, and then you would only pay per hit
FROM that service.

Who do you have hosting your site? I'm with Web Central. The stats
server has help built in that tells me what each term is and how it's
applied. I'd check if your host does the same.

Here is the help for "Usage by page views"
+++++++
Usage by Page Views reports the number of requests for Web pages made
on the Web site.
Like Sessions and Hits, Page Views are an important traffic indicator
because they track the total number of Web pages requested by users.
When coupled with an understanding of the data presented on the Web
site, more sessions and fewer Page views might indicate interest in the
Web site is down. On the other hand, more Page Views and the same
number of sessions might indicate interest in the content is up. This
report will provide you with the information needed to effectively
direct your marketing efforts.

Technical Details: Statistics Server has the ability to include any
file extensions you want to track as Web pages. Commonly used file
extensions are htm, html, asp, shtm, htx and cfm.

Tip: You can use the "Date Selection" calendar to choose the day, week,
month or range you want to report. Once you set the Date Selection it
will be applied to every report you view until you change it.

Tip: You can print this report by clicking the Print button. Statistics
Server will generate a page formatted for printing that you can send to
your printer using your Web Browser File/Print command. Use your Web
Browser back button to return to Statistics Server.

Hope this helps.
