Now that is funny. Not humorous at all, but funny.

I note that you shot the wedding for free. See, she figured your price was right, and wanted to pay the same for reprints.

Been there, done that, and was cheated out of the t-shirt as well.

I TOTALLY agree Tom! In fact, I was completely appalled the other day. I
had a brides mother come and ask me for prices for one 11x14 and one 8x10
enlargement from her daughters wedding. She was all smiles and said she
would come back with an order the following day. She never did come back.
So anyways, the following week, I go into my framer to drop some jobs off,
and low and behold, there on his work bench were two framed photos, a 11x14
and an 8x10! Yep, the cow had taken them to a one hour lab, had them
scanned and printed for probably like $2 and now had them at the
professional framers paying around $100 per print to have them framed.
Great to see that one hour labs are taking notice of copyright stamps on the
back of photos these days.

When I see her next I am going to call her on it, as I actually shot the
wedding for free in the first place. It was the first wedding I had done in
a year, due to being pregnant and having my daughter etc, so I felt a bit
rusty and told them that I would shoot for free providing that they paid for
film etc, so that I could get some practice. And how dumb is she anyways,
knowing that he is the only framer in town, obviously I would find out about
it some way. Some people just don't appreciate anything, and I am fast
learning to stop doing freebies cause I seem to be constantly being taken
advantage of...
