And is it my imagination, or is manual focusing with the SFXn viewfinder/screen actually more pleasant than with the PZ-1/PZ-1p or ZX/MZ models? Is this because the eyepiece is actually made of SMC glass and not plastic? I can't believe the PZ-1p screen is less pleasureable to focus on, but this seems so (standard screens that came with the cameras, in both cases).
I suppose this means I regret selling my SFX, though I have recently picked up an SF1n. I also sold a beautiful ME Super SE, though I really never used it as much as I would have liked.

I know what you mean. I've recently picked up a couple from Ebay because they were being sold with lenses I wanted. They are much better built than most later cameras. I particularly like the little details like the lock on the AF switch so that you don't keep knocking it into manual mode, as happens with the Z1-P.
No frills, but they do all the basics, and are very sturdy.

No, I've moved on. There was just something about it that was so pleasant to use. It wasn't pretty, and it didn't have many features, but I really enjoyed it.
