I once sold a black spotmatic II that was in like new condion except it had the dreaded "sticky meter switch" syndrome which I didnt know at the time could be fixed with a simple CLA. I thought something was broken. Only got about $75 for it.
Other than that, I have been very happy with my photographic eqiupment trading in terms of selling. But this brings up the converse, WHAT PHOTO EQUIPMENT DO YOU REGRET NOT BUYING? The one that sticks out in my mind is I was offered a Fujinon 85mm F4 soft focus lens in M42 for $80 mint and at the time I was strictly a Pentax man so I hesitated. I came to my senses the next day and went back/tried to buy it but it was gone. I cant seem to forget about that blunder.... Not that I would ever use them, I once had the opportunity to buy an entire box full of koni-omega film backs for $10 at a flea market. There must have been 30 of them. But I never heard of that camera and passed, I later found out they were worth way more than that, but that would have only been a money deal, not a collectable deal like the fujinon was. Still dont have a soft focus M42 lens and that was like 15 years ago. JCO ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- J.C.
