That's a whole other kettle of phish.
The curmudgeon in me wants to say that digital isn't a photograph.
But, the rational part of me (am I saying curmudgeons can't be rational? I guess I am...) has to grudgingly agree that digital is photography.
It captures light and thereby records images. It uses electronic rather than chemical means to do so. But, on every level I can think of, it's certainly photography, and what it produces are photographs.
That doesn't mean I have to like it, though!! <vbg>

OTOH, I think an "image" taken with a digital camera is a photograph.
