Oh, are those the same guys that can hear the difference between one brand or another of 5 feet of 10ga. speaker wire? I always thought we photographers believed some strange things, but compared to audiophiles we are a bastion of reason. Maybe because if we go to far off the line our photos just do not come out, where they can always claim their hearing is better than the guy who disagrees with them. I have been doing some research on speaker design. What a crock of BS there is out there...

I suspect part of the legend has be spurned by the bizzare ramblings of a few audiophiles who swear that they can hear the difference between a 1x mastered CD and disc written at faster than play speed. You aren't in this league are you?
