Not sure at the moment as there is a PWM temp controlled 120mm Papst fan in
front of them and I have no way of interrogating them in this server. I did
however make some measurements using a temp probe (which I managed to stick in
the fan) and DMI. Fresh air in 23c, main exhaust out 32.8c, DMI reports 34c
ambient (measured on the M/B) and 33.5c/35c for the CPUs.

When I designed the machine I set up the cooling system to ensure that all air
entering the system was forced across the drives as it's first point of entry.
I have one fan on the air intake and three exhaust so if any one (or even two)
fans fail there will still be adequate airflow for the system. The system
houses 6 drives and has been running constantly since 1997 (hence the limited
DMI support).

My W/S are designed in a similar fashion however I don't use PWM fan speed
control. I'm using the over heat fan contacts on the M/B to switch the case
fans from 7v operation to 12v, not quite as elegant but they run quietly and
will cool the system if the critical temp is ever reached (set in BIOS).
