We could say that to all of us who can not afford an istD that those are stupid threads that waste an immense amount of bandwidth. I am not of that opinion, but I am sure many are.
Are we getting back to Bill's way is the way? Or does the subject matter simply may you feel dumb? Some of the comments are over my head, some are dumb, but I find most of them make me think a bit. That is a good thing at my age.

It allows me to participate in a partcularly stupid, meaningless and off topic thread, saying as much that makes sense an anything else that has been expounded on the topic, but at the same time, wasting as little band width as possible.
