Hi Frank,

I'm guilty of not commenting on any of your pictures, recently,
so I'll try to remedy...
The shots I liked:

The Moment
Great composition, and one where less light on the face of
Jennifer does work. If I had to enlarge this one I'd burn the
highlights on the arm, but not too much. It is a powerful shot.

Jennifer
It reminds me of the Sixties, sort of. There is a bit too much
black in the upper part, but that's all. Nice.

Jennifer and Bill
Another one that I like mostly for its composition; the timing
too is good. This time the light on her face is really too low,
but I guess there's not much you can do... I hope to see the
enlargements sometimes in the future...

Halo
Not completelly sure about this one. It too should be better
with a bit of darkroom work. You did catch a certain strenght in
her performance here.

Mid-song Tuning
Almost perfect, well balanced. Too bad the guitar (the bass?) is
a bit cut. I hope it is not on the negative.

I noticed that almost all of your late B&W shots are quite dark
on my monitor (the 'soap carver' one comes to mind - was it
yours? I have lost the last three months of messages so I cannot
find it...). Are you doing the 4x6 proofs yourself?
One more question: what was the amount of light (which shutter
speed) for the concert shots? The problem with the T-Max 3200 is
that it is in reality a 1000 ASA film, so you are pushing it
already when you are exposing at 3200. Neopan 1600 is probably a
true 1600 film, so it is less pushed to its limit (I do like
Delta 3200, btw...)
Well, that's all I guess...

Ciao,

Gianfranco
