Ok, maybe "exciting" is the wrong word... You should have heard him chatter
though!! Man it was just one step down from an Eagles scream! Those
squirrels are magnificent animals!! Alright, fine, that last part is going
a bit far... Anyhow I took this photo with a Super-Multi-Coated Takumar,
200/4 wide open to facilitate my hand holding the lens. I adjusted the
brightness/contrast, and I used a little bit of unsharpen mask in Photoshop.
I'm satisfied with the shot.

Good grab of a squirrel, but, afraid, for me, it's too dark by half.

I've tried to take squirrel pictures and haven't succeeded yet. They are
often in trees and/or in the shade. And the little suckers move like greased
lightening across the ground. In other words, I think squirrels are tough to get
decent pictures of.

Also, there's this shot I took with the SMC-M 50/1.7 lens. I took it whilst
driving down a farm road at 55 MPH so if the quality is off, well, that's
why, I have some others, I was going to post them but I figured. Why waste
you peoples time???

More successful, IMHO. Only I am not sure why you included so much sky.
There's nothing happening in the sky -- no great clouds, or lighting, or sunset or
anything. Nice color contrasts between the barn and grass and farm equipment
-- I would have focused on that more -- included more of that in the frame and
excluded a great deal of the sky.

HTH, not trying to be overly critical or discouraging, trying to be helpful.

Marnie aka Doe Bear in mind, also, I am not a great photographer. ;-)
