Thanks for taking the time to look again. Your comment brings up a very
interesting point that was made by a well respected photographer (whose
name has now flown out the window) on a discussion show I was listening to
a couple of weeks ago. He was describing a photograph as being very
dynamic, fluid, if you will. While the image is static on the paper, just
like written words are static on a page, the photograph allows one to enter
at any point, to start looking wherever they please, and wander throughout
the image's landscape at will, randomly, the eyes moving up or down, left
and right, in a circular motion ... the viewer chooses where to start
viewing, what path they will follow on the journey through the photograph,
when and where to exit.
]That said, I'm really glad you took the time for a second visit, that you
were able to see what I saw, that we shared something even though it was
years and a thousand miles apart. That's one of the great aspects of
photography.
