Hi Pentax users one of my last black and white photos showing a pair of swans with the nest and 7 eggs was published two days ago in the "snapshot of the week" of a local newspaper called LiZ (Limmat-Zeitung) here. They usually select photos showing typical and current scenes from the "Limmattal" region, mostly landscape photos or close-up's of unusual things. I got some responses from people I know and it is indeed a special feeling to look at this edition of the newspaper :-) It's the second time in 2 month that my photo was chosen and both times I used a Pentax, the first time the ME super with the manual A70-210mm zoom and for the swans a Pentax SFx with manual Sigma Zoom 70-300mm at 300 mm on a tripod at about 10 meters distance to not disturb the birds.
So, be encouraged to send your best shots to a publisher too, it is fun..... The price money corresponds to about 12 rolls of film :-) happy pentaxing Markus
