Antonio,
I've pretty much been ignoring all this silliness, but, for the record, nothing that Mr. Robb says to you of a nature that you may say is threatening is illegal.
Yes, Threatening Assault or Death is illegal. Yes, it can be done remotely. BUT, the receipient of said threat must ~reasonably~ fear for his life or safety. The fact that Bill has no idea where you live, and therefore would be unable to carry through with any threat would be a consideration in whether the police would lay charges.
And, while a threat can be made remotely, the fact that you're in the UK (I surmise by your e-mail addy) and Mr. Robb lives in my fine country (Canada) means that due to that distance, you have no reason to ~reasonably~ fear any imminent assault from Mr. Robb.
So (and again, I emphasize that I have no idea what he said to you, and neither do I care), whatever was uttered may have been vulgar, tasteless or threatening, however it was surely not actionable in a Criminal or Civil Court, in either the UK or Canada.
At least, that's my limited understanding of the law as it exists.
HTH, frank
