Hello Mark, I have 3 Lexar 512mb 40x WA cards and one Dane Electric 512mb nothing special card. Using the supplied Jumpshot reader from Lexar to download to the computer, there is a minor speed increase compared to the Dane-Electric using a Sandisk reader.
However, in camera (*istD), there is a very marked difference in write speed to the card. I only use the Dane-Electric as a last resort. The buffer writes seem to be 2-3x faster on the Lexars.
