I prefer my 1 gig lexar 40X to my 1 gig sandisk. The lexar is a bit 
faster. I reported a problem with the lexar card reader and system 
10.3.3 (mac), but lexar has since released a new driver that corrects 
it. I'm using USB 1 for downloads (I plan to upgrade to 2 or firewire 
soon) but even over USB 1 downloads are okay -- around 15 minutes for a 
full card. I tried it once with another card reader on USB2. I think it 
came in around 6 minutes. To download my Sandisk card I've had to use 
the camera. The Lexar card reader (the cheap one that comes with the 1 
gig card) doesn't see it. I have a Sandisk reader for USB 2 that sees 
all my cards. I'm eventually going to use that one.
