If it is an auto flash she can just set the ASA on it at twice the film speed. She may need to use slower film so that she can set the shutter speed to 1/60 of a second at the f-stop the flash says to use though.

          Hi Guru's.

A horse friend that i talk to via email a bit has a K1000(shes a reformed P&Ser) and is
having troubles with the shadows on her horse portrait shots.I suggested fill flash then realized i have
no experience with the K1000 in this regards.
So,before she emails back and ask's what i mean, what would be a good way to do fill flash
with a K1000 and i believe she has a cheap flash,make unknown.

I'm thinking meter scene then tape a piec of kleenex over the flash to dampen a bit.

Film is drug store, iso 200 or 400.

Any tips i can pass on.

Dave
