I like the composition. The lighting worked out very well, with the slight emphasis on the camera. A
man and his machine.

This afternoon the new scanner arrived. Feeling like a kid on his birthday,
I immediately set about making some scans. The first thing I learned was
that it's not a bad idea to read the manual ;-)) This is the first scan
after so doing.

A couple of days ago a friend and I went to the San Francisco Museum of
Modern Art to enjoy a couple of photography exhibitions that had been
recommended. Being the intrusive and annoying person that I am, I set
about photographing some of the patrons in the museum. Hell, we weren't
allowed to photograph the art work, so it seemed a good idea to make our
own.

We saw some old photos which were very warm toned, so here's something of
an homage to old photos and to breaking some rules.

Oh, yeah, about the technical detail:. This photo could have been made
with any camera, any appropriate lens, and most any film.
