Well, my kids are sick and I have to stay up all night to listen to them breathing/coughing to ensure that they don't choke. So what better way to keep me awake than to put into practical use some of the stuff that tv taught me?
I have to pass on my weekly visit to the photo club to help my wife put eye drops to Galia's eyes... She has some kind of eye infection <sigh>... I can totally relate to what you're saying.
All shots straight out of camera except for bw conversions...
Sorry there are so many, but at least you have all been spared for a few weeks from the wrath of my *istD since I've been away...

Tanya, I really like all the b/w ones. They're subtle and just plain good. I did not quite like the color ones. They did not work for me. Though don't take me as a good judge... It is just that I've seen more b/w shots like these than color ones... I really like first two... Very well done I should say.
The one that is notably the weakest, IMHO, is the last one. The absence of mouth kind of breaks it... Your expression is incomplete without the mouth.
Could be I am far off base, but these are my cents worth...
