In some countries MZ-S is still listed as a current camera at Pentax importeres website. I Denmark recommended retail price is 2.100 Euro/2.600 USD. Same price as the *ist D. In most stores it's a little (10%) less.

I doubt that they would put any more R&D or retooling into film SLR's. So to me it would mean no changed to the current line unless there were a simple firmware change that could be made. I just suspect that they couldn't recoup the cost. My local store here (Nikon & Pentax) that stocks everything Nikon said that they almost NEVER sell a new Nikon Film body about the N80. They haven't for about the past year. Most higher end Nikon sales are going digital. -- Best regards, Bruce Wednesday, June 16, 2004, 10:18:37 AM, you wrote: KW> I have been told, by a Nikon sponsored pro, that there will KW> be no new Nikon SLR film camera.
