Are there any compact digital point-and-shoots that
have a wide-angle lens? It seems most are around
35-to-something or 38-to-something, equivalent.
Ricoh have also recently released the 5Mpx GX, with a 28-85 equiv lens. With the low shutter lag, aperture priority/manual exposure, and even spotmetering, I am thinking about getting one myself. I have the very nice GR1s film compact, and I have to say that 28mm is one of the sharpest lenses in my collection. So I have great faith in their GR lenses.
