I think the shot works. "One lonely small stand of trees in a vast empty
space." The shape of the trees does make me want to move them to the right
side of the frame so they're leaning into the picture. What focal length did
you use? I think the shot would also be interesting with a shorter focal
length to further emphasize the vastness of the empty space and the
loneliness of the trees.

Of course, if I was standing in that spot with my camera in my hand none of
these thoughts would have occurred to me.

Now you can all rip my critique apart. Please. Oh, I've been a bad bad boy.
