Sorry Markus, no pictures here since I am on vacation... The worst has been a few rainstorms with the Super Porgram and LX, visiting waterfalls with the same gear, and most recently it was a baseball tourney I helped a friend with. I was shooting with the MZ-S. I just draped a towel over the lens and did not really think about the body.
Not in the same league of rain, but I was shooting in NYC in the rain with my LX shortly after Sept. 11, 2001. All the media had all their gear covered and people were shooting under umbrellas. I was carrying my LX by my side and shot when appropriate. People must have thought me crazy :-P No dramatic tales from me on this one, Cesar Panama City, Florida -----Original Message----- From: Markus Maurer [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sunday, July 04, 2004 11:47 PM Hi Graywolf a nice story, but pictures would describe it even better of course :-) That raises a general question for me: Has anybody ever made photos under weather conditions like these, under heavy rain or storm and how did they protect themselves and the gear? Was it worth the effort? -> Photos please :-) thanks Markus > Subject: Holiday photo adventure in the mountains > ve I have ever been out is such a hard rain. > Heavy thunder and a lightning begin just as I got to the > apartments.
