I'll take a stab at what a left of your post, Badri.
The segments in the ZX-M are a central circle and the rest of the frame. Think something like "smart centerweighting" and you've got the idea.
The ZX-M can not do TTL flash. The extra contact lets it know a flash is connected, and you will probably default to synch speed with a flash attached. However, the flash used should be either fully manual (a pain) or a thyristor-type flash where metering is done from a tiny little circular window on the front of the flash. For fill flash you would have to use an aperature different from that suggested by the flash itself. Any older book on photography should explain how to fuss with thyristor flashes.
