UPS is simply ridiculous. Once they showed up on my door and charged me
CAD3x duty too. When my sister and I opened the door, we were surprised to
see not "one", but "two" UPS guys. Sure they had great smiles, but neither
my sister nor I did welcome it. No wonder they charged me so much duty! My
other sister ordered something from US and it was supposed to be cheaper,
but she was charged by the ridiculous CAD3x duty again. I swear, just no
more fxxxing UPS for the rest of my life.

When ordering into Canada have it shipped US Postal Service NOT UPS. UPS
and other private shippers act as brokers when dealing with Canadian
custums and charge handsomely for it. Postal service does not do that. If
you have customs duties you will still have to pay, but you will not be
stuck with brokers fees from UPS, FEDEX, etc..
