I'm sure no one would get upset if the information was shared post auction. You do have to consider that there are far more lurkers here than participants so theoretically any particularly attractive auction could be introduced to another 900+ potential bidders. If only one of these potentials bid then it could mean you or whoever wishes to bid misses out. If you are the one who misses out you might think the advice to refrain from posting live auctions is reasonable? I watch a lot of auctions, what are you after in particular, I'll let you know on-list when one pops up if you wish?
