Well, Boris, You may be quite disappointed to know that the execution of this shot was "Theriaultian" (that one doesn't exactly flow off the tongue, does it? <g>), as was the result. IOW, I have no idea how I did it! <vbg> Seriously, it was a darkish, cloudy day, aperture was set to about f16 for wide dof in case an interesting shot should pass by, shutter set to Aperture Priority. Saw the lady and dog, panned the camera along with her, snapped. IIRC, the shutter speed showed as around 1/15 or 1/30, something like that. She kept walking (in fact she speeded up), so there was no chance for second shots. No big secrets. Just a quick snapshot, really.
