Ooh! About favourite words, I actually have been keeping a text file to which I add favourite words when they pop into my head. Was actually called 50 Words.txt, but it's probably got a few more now..
pluperfect, postal, epitome, mellow, mercurial, tedious, furtive!, miffed, beamed, sarabande, poignant, carefully, cornflake, draped, pique, embers, fleeting, brocade, cosy, grub, indignant, tinder, ginger, balletic!, kerfuffle, opalescent, iridescent, letter, wistful, cinder!, darling, humbug, rhubarb, susurrus, guppy, fervent, spurious!, defenestration, intaglio, infusion, mimetic, triptych!, insouciance, simmer, royal, mundane, endearing, dear, prudence, allegory, fluor!, countenance, intermittent, odd, phosphor, tinker, fond, elegie, epithet, clarity, irreverent, perpelexed, tentative, tactile, rather, velour, dulcet!, poise, pounce (Those with !s I particularly love) The list is still growing, and I know there are words I've missed, but they'll come to me. I'll probably have to alphabetise them soon. Favourite of favourites? probably 'dulcet', then 'balletic'.. Cheers, Ryan PS.
