Nice captures Frank. But while some people have tilted horizons you have tilted bikes

I really like http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2550847. I can tell its
yours since its blurry ! <another VBG>
But seriously, for me it really captures what a bike race is all about. Could be a
poster for a bike race!

Subject: PAW: Inside the Peloton

Since I was off-list for a week, I'm thinking I can
have another PAW only a day and 1/2 after my last one
<g>.

So, you may remember that on July 1st I was shooting a
bike race here in Toronto, the Ontario Criterium
Championships. I got back some 4x6 minilab prints,
and posted a few of the more acceptable ones, which I
already posted, so you don't have to look if you've
already seen them:

Then, I got some blown up for friends of mine who were
in the race (not sales, just as gifts). The lab
accidentally printed one that I didn't ask for, in
fact one that I didn't even bother to scan from 4x6.
They gave it to me for free, since they'd printed it
up by error. The more I looked at it, the more I
liked it.

Even though it's blurry as all get out, I think
there's a vibrancy to it, a feeling of being in the
middle of a nervous peloton, that maybe kind of
captures road racing (not that I've ever raced...
<g>):

You may like it, you may hate it; I'd love to hear
your comments either way.

thanks,
frank
