Nah, they travel pretty light, with sag wagons meeting them where the roads
cross the trail. But you have to admit running 2200 miles in the mountains in 20
days, or so, is a bit more than just a marathon. I knew a guy who had done it
but got beat out by about 17 minute by another guy the same year.
