The latest going price on eBay is around US$130 for a EX+/mint sample. I had 
2 few years ago (one good, one mint), optically it is very sharp. However, 
both were pumping out "oil" (when switching in and out of macro mode) just 
behind the front element and I have never figured out what went wrong. Maybe 
the apartment was too warm (often between 30-43C). If you are getting one, 
just make sure the focus is unchanged through the whole zoom range. If it 
did, it meant the lens had received some improper service.

I've been reading about this lens and it would fill a gap in my zooms.
Have any of you tried it, is it as good as everyone says?
Looks like it goes for $130.00 - $200.00 depending on condition.
