Hi Rob, since I am a macro fan, I have indeed a lot of macros. I plan for long a test of them but don't find the time. The oldest one I own is the SMC-M 4/100mm macro. Is this old enough?

Lens design has come a long way in 30 years, surely they have made some headway in performance? Unfortunately I don't have any old lenses and I suspect you don't have any new ones, so does anyone have both and are willing to execute some rudimentary tests?
