Hi Paul,
Lens FL vs AOV for a corrected rectilinear lens are "fixed" so to speak, they
can easily be calculated knowing the aspect ratio, the diagonal length of the
projected image and the actual lens FL. Lens to lens the Pentax series
exhibit the expected variation in AOV for each FL and from rough
calculations little variation from theoretical expectations.
I don't know about CZJ designed lenses however a recent Contax 25mm SLR
lens designed by CZ was closer in FL to 26 than 25 resulting in very little
difference in AOV than the 28mm in the same lens series.
