Personally I would have a flash on the hotshoe and bounce it off the
ceiling, assuming it's not too high a ceiling, Amita. Direct flash can be
very harsh, but sometimes may be more suitable than bounced (dark painted
ceilings etc). Ideally a flash on a stand and a brolly or two, but in the
real world this may not be possible. Avoid the pop-up flash if you can.
